1. How long does it take for me to complete the onboarding process?

It takes under 10 minutes to get what we need from you. If you are a practicing physician, the biggest hold up is the time it takes for Alberta Health to process the Business Arrangement. Typically we are seeing turn around times of about one week from when we receive your information.

2. Do I need to fill out paperwork?

No. All our forms are online and can be digitally signed.

3. What do I do if I’m a new physician?

As a new physician, there are a few more documents you’ll need to complete to be able to process billing through Alberta Health. We’ll make sure you have all the right documentation and we’ll highlight what it is you actually need to fill in. We’ll take care of the rest. As with practicing physicians, the biggest unknown is how quick Alberta Health will process the paperwork. We typically see this happen in 2-4 weeks for new physicians.


4. Does ResolvMD work with all physician types?

Yes. We process billing for all physicians.

5. How long have you been billing for?

We have been billing for more than ten years. Wildrose Billing combined with ResolvMD to offer a more digital first, modern and efficient platform for all stakeholders.

6. What provinces do you operate in?

We are currently serving Alberta based physicians. We aim to provide services in British Columbia and Ontario in the near future.

7. Can you help with reconciliations?

Yes. Get in touch with us if you require help with reconciliations and do not necessarily need all billing to be done.


8. What are the prices?

See our pricing page for more details. If you are inquiring on behalf of a business group or practice, please get in touch with us directly as we have enterprise contracts available.

9. Why don’t you charge more?

Though we think we provide more than any other billing service in terms of value and immediate return on investment, we don’t believe we need to make it cost more. We want to keep rates in line with competition so the decision is easy for you.

10. Do you have a referral program?

Yes, for every physician you refer to us who opens an account and processes a minimum of 100 claims, we will immediately credit your account with $500 in billing credit. Click here for more details.

11. What payment methods do you offer?

We offer payment through Stripe, the largest and most secure third party payment service provider globally.

Physician Insights Portal

12. How often to you update the insights?

We update all the time! As we figure out new ways to save you time or opportunities to increase or optimize your earnings we want to share these right away.

13. Will I have access to the insights portal if I don’t bill with you directly?

Yes. If your billing agent uses ResolvMD software to process billing, we can provide you with access to the insights portal. We believe every physician should be able to have real time, transparent access to their billing information!

Privacy & Security

14. How do you treat privacy and data?

Privacy and security are non-negotiable for us. All information is encrypted and stored in accordance with regulation and industry best practices. There is no third party access to the data. For more information, please see our privacy policy here or give us a call.

15. Is your software secure?

ResolvMD is on the forefront of the latest developments and best practices for privacy and security. All aspects of our system were designed to keep patient and personal information secure from the outset. We meet or exceed the specification outlined in the Health Information Act and conform to Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). All of your data is stored within Canada and is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and at rest (256-bit AES encryption).

16. Are you insured?

Yes. We carry a minimum of $2mm in coverage in both cyber insurance and errors and omissions insurance.


17. If I want to bill myself, what do I do?

We are going to be able to offer our software as a service in the next few months. Drop us a note and we can add you to our waiting list.
